I suppose you might be wondering why I am making a blog in the first place. I guess partly because a lot of people use them like a diary, others use them for business, and still others are trying to find a way to reach out and make new friends.

I’m trying to use mine for all of the above reasons. LOL

I never used a diary as a child, but found over the years that I kind of like them, it lets me express my thoughts and mull over what might be happening in my life. The paper versions are rather hard to keep track of in this day and age, so I think the Internet is a perfect solution to that problem. If I have something I don’t want to share with world, I see I have a button that will let me keep the info private. Very nice!

At the same time, I am trying to get back into business for myself. Years ago I had a real nice little sweater knitting business that I ran out of my home and thru craft shows in the area I lived in. Since I’m not there anymore, my clientèle list is not much good to me unless I consider contacting them via the Net. That could get to be expensive since shipping costs would now become involved in purchases that they used to make from me face-to-face. I’m thinking that what I really need to do is just start again fresh. But, if I do get my business up and running again, I really am going to need to do something to make myself stand out from the crowd, aren’t I?

So, having heard enough of the trigger words and terms now used in business, I know I have to find a logo that will stand out and be recognized. Previously I just had a bunch of simple business cards that I could hand out at the shows in case someone wanted to contact me at a later time for more sweaters. LOL As I said earlier, that won’t work if I take my business online, so I have been exploring websites that have some interesting designs. I haven’t found the one I want yet, but have found some good possibilities at Pixel Logo and will keep looking thru till I find one that speaks to me. You all might want to check them out because they do have an amazing assortment for all needs.

And for the last reason I decided to start my own blog, that’s obviously already on it’s way to occurring. Just by writing, I hope to make new friends, all of you!
